We are not skint and if we are we could at least loan some half decent players like Ipswich have.

And you don't rate Dublin as half decent? Jeez.....six weeks ago, Worthy was heavily criticised for not signing Sutton. Yes, ok, Dublin is older than Sutton, but who would turn down Teddy Sheringham at 41?

I get peed off at people coming on here having a go at players before they've even pulled on a shirt. It was exactly the same with Lee Croft: half of you then, on the day he signed, reckoned he was fat and ***, and now listen to you going on about how great a right winger he is (and he is just that in my opinion...great, not ***).

At least have the courtesy to give Dublin the chance to prove you wrong before you criticise. If he pops up and heads the winner at Plymouth on Saturday, are you still going to spout utter drivel?

we had a 2million bid accepted 4 david cotteril so we have money

I would much rather have Dublin having not spent a penny rather than potentially wasting 2m on an untried youngster. He's 6'2", target man, vastly experienced, exactly what we need right now. We can't wait until the transfer window. Since Sutton's injured (as he is most of the time), who else is better that we can get on a free? And branding him a 'donkey' before he's even had one training session simply makes me angry.

At least if he turns out to be **** we'll be no financially worse off for it.

We all know Dion Dublin won't be the answer to all our prayers, but he'll give us a good option for the last 15-20 minutes. We now have a plan B, & Earnie could have a good target to play off if plan A doesn't work. Don't knock him, remember how Duncan Ferguson has been used off the bench to great effect in recent years.

That's a bit incorrect. We actually had a bid which was worth upto £2m accepted by Bristol City, not a bid totalling £2m at the outset.

I'd agree we have money, but I'd hazard a guess it's not quite that much...

Be grateful city fans we have someone who can play for 20 mins, dont know what you all keep moaning about, anyone would think you want promotion or something silly like that.

I so hope he pops up and scores the winner on Saturday now. If he does I would like to hear what those of you who are slating him have to say then.

Yes we have some money, but we can't spend it now because the transfer window is closedTongue Tied [:S]. Signing Dion is low risk and could work out for us.
