If the board did receive a vote of no confidence from shareholders, even if it wasn't passed, given the Smith's majority, is there then some legal process that then has to be followed or can they just ignore it?

Radical militant Smudger claims to have fans group nCIsA in his pocket and stung them into a meeting to discuss his attempt to hound Delia Smith from the debt riddeen Championship club he claims to support...

hahaha Nutty still on the boards defensive... why don't you pop along yourself Nutty seeing as you care so much and are so certain that you are right???

Right about what?

I want nothing to do with your protest. The easiest way to get change at the club is to buy the shares that control it. It's that simple.

and where does that get you exactly Nutty? laughed at by those "considerabley richer than you" who are sat on on their thrones at the head of our directionless mob???

Just because you father or whoever it was donated some shares to you all those years ago which have allowed you to have no say in the way our club goes about it's business, do not try to make purchasing a few shares the almighty answer to our prayers.... unless you know of somebody "considerably richer" willing to invest that is???

That is a very good question shortfatb... Yes [Y]

Anybody got any conclusive answers on this one???

I would of thought that they could just choose to ignore it, but it would certainly start to make life very uncomfortable for them indeed should they choose to do so.

You need a lawyer to answer but basically you would need percentage to put a vote forward and as the majority of the shareholders are the directors it could not happen or if it did the would be a meaningless minority. The directors are publicly looking to get out so it is not clear what you would seek to achieve.

Nutty this is not a protest meeting.I want it to be an exchange of views amongst concerned fans to see if we can find some common ground. What will come of it i do not know but it is a way forward rather than "banter"amongst each other on the internet.

As for buying the shares that control the club if i may say that is a ridiculously simplistic view for us mere mortals to embark on do you not think? It appears billionaires are hesitant so that course of action is pie in the sky for us fans.

Yes Tilly it is a ridiculously simplistic view for us mortals to embark on. But then so is trying to hound those who own the shares out of the club. Yes billionaires are hesitant which is my whole point. Embarking on a crusade to make life so uncomfortable for our poor millionaires that they walk, as has been suggested on here, is rather foolhardy when we don't even have any other poor millionaires to replace them.

So maybe the way forward would be to put pressure on those hesitant billionaires to buy the shares that control the club and in the mean time show a little support to the poor millionaires who have shown much more commitment to our club, financial and emotional, than most of those who "banter" on here.

Re: John Tilson from NCISA on Future Radio Today

Mr. Tilson,

I understand there's a meeting on Thursday, does this mean the Wednesday meeting has been cancelled or will there be two meetings?

As for the club finances some of us have been posting here and on the WOTB. for some time about the clubs fixation with spending on Tangible Fixed Assets rather than the squad or getting the debt down. Even last season they spent £1060k on Tangible Fixed Assets (per note 12, page 23 of the NCFC. Plc. Annual Report for the year ended 31st May 2008).

The club has had millions (in excess of £10m.) that could have been directed towards the squad but has been spent on non entertaining fixed assets.

IT's TIME FOR NCISA. TO RALLY THE SUPPORTERS (like the meeting at St. Andrews) AND ORGANISE PROTEST MARCHES BEFORE THE JANUARY WINDOW. THE NCFC BOARD MUST GO!

Protest marches about what???

Majority shareholders who have indicated on several occasions that they will sell?

A Board of Directors who have intimated on several further occasions that they are actively seeking investment?

What on earth are you intending to protest about that EVERYONE doesn't already realise needs to happen?

*sigh*

Are you making banners?

"One out, all out"

*sigh* again...

It's not difficult to see why you are called a nut. What exactly do you hope that will achieve?

Oh they want to sell at £30 a share? No wonder a deal hasn't been concluded. In essence the club has gone nowhere from a decade ago, if this was not a football club I would expect a rescue funding to be at a discount and a deep discount at that given the current economic circumstances.

So are you saying all the Chase out demonstrations were a waste of time? Frying pan...Fire. ( I thought the old lad hard done by!!)

Also how do you know they want £30 a share. That figure was quoted in general terms. They may settle for a lot lessBig Smile [:D]. Lets say 4/5 million for the money etc they have invested. That would seem right to me. PERHAPS this is all happening now.

Well it will make this lot find a buyer within months I can bet you that much.

On the other hand we could be sitting here this time next year listening to your good self and Nutty telling us all to be patient things will improve.

You have been wrong for the last 3 years haven't you?

What makes you think that you are going to be right this time???

Life is very simple in your world isn't it Smudger?

How many million/billionaires do you hit when you throw a stone with "Invest (lol) in football" scrawled on it?
