The 'can' I picked up today had baked beans in it, anyone got anything more interesting in theirs?

I'm not doubting your sincerity here JB. But this latest post of yours doesnt sound so promising. 'In the can' suggests they are signed and we are just waiting for 1 June to announce it but 'near as damn it' suggests its close but not actually 'in the can'. So is it in the can or not quite in the can yet?

I have just heard from a reliable person that we have two defenders, a striker and a wide left winger/midfielder in the can. I am told that we will be more than pleased when we see these arrivals. Whats more we will fully understand why Roeder has let Hucks go because we have more than replaced him. I know that we are outside the transfer window but I have been assured that 'they are in the can!' For those of you who remember the reliable person has been spot on before.

Taylor, Bates, Ameobi and Hoolahan.

None of these players are coming to Norwich

Ok i'll put it on.

Apparently Sheree Murphy (or someone looking like her) was seen holding a baby out socialising with Delia and Wynn-Jones in Aldeburgh (suffolk coastal town), now as u all know she is married to a certain Harry Kewell. Apparently they met a couple years ago but wiv Delia's celeb contacts, i wonder....................? I dunno if the baby thng is relevant, no idea if she has kids!!

Also i heard he is out of contract wiv Liverpool, it's a long shot i know, wont be cheap wages and inury prone bu its a big name player that will shock alot of people.

The person who told me this is a scummer BUT works for the club Surprise [:O](i know)

If true, this is unbelievable news....

Infact i'm shocked, i can't believe we really have a scummer working at NCFC? Terrible...

What has this Johnno got right in the past? Then I can make a decision if i should believe him or not.

The Turners as well as Camara and Matty (Pants) Patty

Did he say having the Turners at the club was a total waste of time?  If that is the case, I congratulate him.

The Kid's are o.k, at the Horse & Dray.

Yeah but if it is true he may as well have named the guy! Can't be too many scummers on the inside can there? He'll be getting Roeder's boot for sure! :o)

I think 'pay as you play' deals are reserved for the truely desperate over the hill stars with chronic injury problems/record. I'm sure I have heard of them being awarded to certain players. They are rare though, and I suspect that Kewell wouldn't be on one, as some other mug out there will think he's quailty and will throw all sorts of money at him. But hopefully Roeder knows better than to sign over the hill shirkers on a huge wedge.

Ricardo Fuller is on a pay as you play contract I believe

Re: IN THE CAN
My understanding is that these players are our players. The 'near as dam it' line I gathered to mean pen to paper when the window opens and that sort of thing.
