I don't know if it's because I have been staring at a computer screen for 7 hours and my brain is fried... but... It's just not football!? I'm not sure how to explain this but... shouldn't it be It's not just football! because we are talking about topics apart from football? It currently sounds like a title saying something that people think is football but isn't?! Please put me out of my misery someone, Evil Monkey? Iwans Front Teeth? Ou est Anselin? I'm not... i relised this a while back that it had changed. it did indeed used to be "ITs Not Just Football" - but after the move around on the message boards i think it got changed, and some poor person made a slight mistake trying to put it back to normal Purley a typing error i think, not ment intentionally    Report

As I said to Jamie in t'office, I don't think that it is technically wrong.  I gather the title is a play on the old "its just not cricket" saying (see: Austin Powers, etc).  Plus, as AJ pointed out, it really isn't about football. Hence the name. So, son, I'm afraid I think you're wrong to quibble.  Best check with a pedant... why isn't Jarvis a City fan?!?!? (Note: Jarvis is my old housemate and is a huge pedant... he is also a fan of... Middlesboro!!
