unity emeralds
i joined unity in 1980 and played 333 games for them until they sadly folded in 1991. i remember playing with real quality players ,goosey, grub jerry applegate, gary jordan, mick money ,to mention a few, plus our ex ncfc players forbesy, phil lythgoe, clive woods, billy steele, doug evans, plus loads of others too many to mention. we were feared by most sunday league teams because of the quality and fitness of our squad.we dominated  the sunday league, and senior cup along with hobbies in the early 80,s. i would love comments from former players, and opponents alike.

RE: unity emeralds

Hi Nick

What a great subject as well as fond memories. Was it the Mackintosh's side with Kevin Ready, Alan Arber and John Blyth (my team) or indeed Quebec with Jimmy Landamore, John Linford etc.

Not sure it matters- great times- great friends and good to hear you are well. Hope the discipline is a bit better- you missed more games through suspension that you played (just kidding!). Glenn Hoy
