My name is James Samuel, known as Sam/Sammy, and I played for Newton Flotman and Hempnall through the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Gave up playing around four years ago after a knee op, beginning to go to seed and may need to step up into a veterans league. Still watch and take interest in local football.

I played a couple of seasons for Flotman (or the mighty horse as we bizzarely called ourselves) under the expert guidance of Marcus Nunn in the mid to late nineties. Although we were a rubbish side, I have still to this day never enjoyed my football so much. I'd love to hear from some of those old players.

Hello Wez I was the captain of the mighty Horsemen and agree we were rubbish but also I enjoyed playing for that team more than any of the other championship sides I have played for.I wonder what boggy is up to now?

Hello Denz, yeah I seem to remember you... Didn't I go to your wedding? Wasn't I at your wife's birthday do a couple of weeks ago, and didn't I help you sand down your floor when you moved into your last house? I hope you are the same Denz.... Not sure what Boggy is up to now

Yes I think you were at my wedding and my wifes birthday last month.And as for my floor well that was definately you.So that must make me the same Denz.How are you? Are you home for Christmas? Will you fit in any Eaton games if back?

But i can't remember if Denz and Boggy are the same people you looked so similar under the floodlights. As for Boggy last i heard Wes was seeing his sister.

Do either of you guys know what Luke Bowthorpe's up to or Wes's Italian mate Donkey??

I remember you goalkeeper allegedly.Do you remember going out after your debut.We went for a currie with Uppy and Nunny and by the end of the night you had a hot towl on your head and you wanted your Mum.Ahhh the horsemen days.
