Living in Leicester I remember the hope that was stirred here when Mandaric appeared as a potential investor. Getting Milan's millions in was going to be the miracle cure for the club and send it up the table. The irony is that they got relegated soon after. So, yes, we need to have eyes wide open as far as seeing PC as the Messiah. It ain't necessarily going to be the case that PC will arrive and the team will miraculously shoot up the league. It will take time for the changes at board level to have discernable effects on the pitch, although it would certainly be a great filip to have PC's millions available for the January transfer window. That aside I would probably be necessary to make changes at board level simply because, warranted or not, this present board have become identified among many fans as significantly contributing to our decline. There is a malaise about NCFC that has grown since our relegation from the Prem which only a change at board level can now cure. It is simply time for a change.

Whats that supposed to mean? I may be many things, but an Ipswich supporter never!
I think some of you are missing the point in my posting, yes they understand the fans are hurting, but to say that you don't give a s**t about two people who have put millions in to the club is very, very wrong.
|
|
But do you think they will walk away with nothing in the back pocket, cobblers, don't you worrie on that score,
they will take out what they have paid in before anything else is paid,
TBH I can't wait for them to go, Yes they saved the club all those years ago, but they hadn't or haven't got a clue how to run anything other than a Cafe.
When we got back into the prem they should have got rid of Worthless after the 6th defete we were going nowhere with him as it was proven, in short they failed big time

So without those two money grabbing cafe owners, and Worthless, everything would have been so so much better.

One main with problem with Norwich City and its lack of success has its been owners.
Success starts at the top. Delia's happy for a nice football club, makin money and winning a few matches. Look at the company you all work for. Do you think your area managers and Directors and Chief Executives sit in their offices happy to make a bit of money and have a nice little company plodding along?
No
Football is now a business. Business demands success. Succesful businesses are run by successful businessman who demand success.
We have the wrong owners. Its got to start from the very top and filter down from the chairman, to the manager, to the players. Like wigan, like Palace, like Birmingham etc, and pretty much every other football club in the top 2. All have driven successful businessmen at the helm who demand success. We dont, and its shackling us.
Cullum or A N Other is what we need. A proper business man as an owner who will demand success from the football club. Not just be happy to plod along and win a few matches.

So how did we win this league with the cafe owners and worthless?
Why can't we just accept that this club needs new investment to move forward. Trouble is, if we did that all posters, supporters, board members, owners, managers, players, past managers, past players.. EVERYONE would be singing from the same hymn sheet.

Nigel Worthless?
How dare you sir. In 15 yrs we have had 2 successful managers. Mike Walker and Nigel Worthington. Worthy was one game away from a successful 1st season back in the prem. And he was badly let down by his players that day, as were we (namely Francis). Yep it took us a long time to get going, but when we did we went on a great run and it was a hell of a ride and we nearly did it.
Do u forget beating Man Utd and Newcastle tring to stay up? Do you forget Iwans goal at Cardiff and the 2 mins of heavenly bliss and total delirium we experienced in the playoff final after we scored? Do you forget 0-2 at portman road and then staying at the top of the league from Christmas til we won the championship? Nigel Worthington is far from worthelss you utter fool and how dare you and anyone tarnish his name.
It was Worthys first job in charge of a big team and first time in the Prem. Of course he made a few mistakes, a few bad buys, but so did a hell of a lot of other post promotion managers, much more experienced managers. Of course he took us as far as he could and the time was right for both parties to move on. Thats football, it happens. It doesnt make Worthington and bad manager and should never tarnish what he achieved. He built a great team and gave us the joy of Hux for 5 glorious yrs. He gave me my favourite life moment with Iwans goal at Cardiff. He gave us 2-0 Man Utd, the Newcastle win, the Boro fightback. And for that ill always thank him.
Worthy's a NCFC legend like Hucks, like Walker, like Brown and Peters and Keelan etc...
so how dare you sir...

Delia and Michael have done a good job for the club but are now past their sell by date and need to get out ASAP and I think they know that as well!
If the current situation doesn't improve I fear what happened to Leicester last season could happen to us!
