Kewell would be a great signing. Give him a pay as you play contract with bonuses for goals, etc. The guy has had a torrid time at Liverpool, but was pure class at Leeds and at this level would be awesome. A move to someone like us would put him in the shop window really, so we could write in a £3-4 million buy out clause in contract and hope he comes good. Worth a punt. Although he'll probably end up at wolves!

I'm now going to do an impression of a well known Wolves fan who regularly posts here, see if you can guess who it is?
"He won't come to Norwich. Wolves much bigger club. You're looking at midtable finish so won't attract players like Kewell. Only clubs I can see will land Kewell signature are Wolves, Wolves or Wolves."
(Just joking around we8wba )

Ha Ha - yep thats why I left the tell tale "winking smiley" at the end of the post. 'Cos I knew me old mate We8wba would love to have Harry at Wolves. I'm actually looking forward to the summer rumour mill, and we'll get the usual Norwich/Wolves player chases in the press, so I, for one, appreciate his input!

I think 'pay as you play' deals are reserved for the truely desperate over the hill stars with chronic injury problems/record. I'm sure I have heard of them being awarded to certain players. They are rare though, and I suspect that Kewell wouldn't be on one, as some other mug out there will think he's quailty and will throw all sorts of money at him. But hopefully Roeder knows better than to sign over the hill shirkers on a huge wedge.

Maybe Steve Walsh and Tony Cottee, could make a comeback for us?

yeah, well roedy sold early in the jan window - then was forced to hang around until the last mo - getting 4 young loanees in which p*ssed up our winning run and royally screwed up our whole season.
therefore, i'd say its not outa character for roedy to act quickly this time around and secure the top targets he really wants early doors. this rumour looks good on past performances and is mucho welcome.
bring it on i say - and for the first time in years - we're acting like a top outfit - more power to roedy i say...aside from jan - i've been very impressed with his ability to get decent players here./1

He is on 75000 a week. Yes, he will get less now, but he will be a wnated man, despite his injuries and form.
I don't know how much longer I can continue the delusional long term optimism.

Kewell has been linked with Hull so its not totally out of the question but I agree he is likely to be out of our price range wages wise. Apparently during the full version of the Roeder interview today (which i'm told is on canariesworld) he said the player he is confident of bringing in to replace Hucks is 6 or 7 years younger than Hucks.
An entirely different rumour I have heard from a mate who works in the midlands media is we are after David Bell from Luton. He was on loan at leicester last season apparently.

I also have a hunch there may be something in the Kevin Philips rumours. He would be excellent, particularly if we could get Ched back to play alongside him and do all the running!

As a matter of interest Harry Kewell's missus has just had a baby - I saw her on the front cover of some crappy women's mag in the local newsagent!
He would fit in with Roeder's description of Hux replacement.
Personally, I would bet on the signings being Taylor, Ramage, Commons & Patterson - wouldn't be a bad way to start the summer off!
