The younger players will only learn from him. I really don't see anyone much better we could have gotten right now. And something had to be done now as we can hardly afford to wait until January! All this time we've been shouting for a target man and now we've got one he's not good enough for some. Okay he's no Crouch, but for right now he will do the job!    Report

At that stage it's probably more down to the individual. We all know Sutton's not coming - Worthington's come out and said it. If he goes out and signs him he'll look even more of a clown for going back on his word (yes I know - I'm setting myself up for someone to come and mention that he went back on wanting young and hungry players but oh well). Plus I think he's injured now anyway, and like I said, we can't afford to wait. And you'd prefer Sutton for half the games? What does that have to do with it? We've got Dublin here now. If he keeps fit I think he could get a lot of goals in our side that puts in so many crosses.    Report
