Were you on here slagging him off when he was saving us from the drop last season? You sound just like our board - incompetent!

to be fair, although eh did save us.. after the 13 game unbeaten run he took the players to spain and VERY NEARLY took us down afterwards.... look at the league table from last season.. if we hadn't of beaten QPR then the results on the last day would of relegated us... FACT!

What are you going on about?  Are you seriously suggesting that the coaching staffs tactics are to play long ball to Sibierski's head?  Get a bloody grip you idiot.

So we spent £400k last year on transfers. This years player budget is £8.5 million considerably more than some clubs in this division I would guess (and yes less than some others) however Roeder spends it. At the end of the season there will be teams with less money than us above us in the league because their managers can get the best out of very ordinary players while we struggle to get ordinary performances out of supposedly good players.

Roeder rather than keep quiet says some supporters have got their angles all wrong, says if we dont like loans then tough then goes on to say that the loan players gave their all well if they did their all wasnt good enough to beat a very ordinary Southampton side. We will see how tough it is when it comes to season ticket renewal.

Whilst I want Norwich to win every game I am realistic enough to realise they wont but if they put in a good performance I will accept that but keep pumping high balls to Siberski when possession is being lost nearly all the time shows you Roeders tactics are poor. We are best with the ball on the ground most supporters know that why not the coaching staff.

Perhaps we should get Sturrock to give our team a pep talk because after losing to us they have never looked back whilst we are just falling away its not investment that is the problem, although some would be nice, it is the management, coaching, and even the Chief Executive who seems nothing but doom and gloom. I have always said that a work force in the main mirrors those at the top and with caution the main factor at the club perhaps that is why we are where we are.

I SUPPORT NORWICH CITY ON THE PITCH. I WANT TO SEE BETTER PLAYERS AND MORE THAN 31% OF TURNOVER SPENT ON PLAYERS WAGES. THAT REQUIRES A NEW BOARD WITH SOME GUTS.

Re: FFS Give Roeder A Break

feel sorry he has not been given any decent money to get  proper players in.

The club is skint, dress it up anyway you like, in debt, can't afford wages or fees of average players. new investment is being sort.

Ones we do get in are, youngsters, crocks on way back or out of the game for good or just unfit needing precious weeks of training.

Going down I am affraid.

I totally lay the blame for our slump on our board.

Re: FFS Give Roeder A Break

NCFC. have made a £200k profit on transfers to date. £600k profit in Jan 2008 and a £400k cost on transfers since 31st May 2008 (note 35 Post Balance Sheet Events, page 37 of the NCFC Plc Annual Report for the year ended 31st May 2008).

I agree give GR. a break.

Not really Jas, because in this strange league you speak of surely every team would have to give up one of their wins to make it fair.

I'd give him a break below the knee cap for coming along to continue his personal brand of losing at my club. I bet he couldn't believe his luck when he got offered a contract here......

Yet another magnificent manager to add to the other dross brought in by Smith and her cronies.

Re: FFS Give Roeder A Break

Actually whilst on this subject we went to the Plymouth game and stayed in the same hotel as the players and had an interesting discussion with a senior member of the management team.

Suffice to say and the fees involved around both David Bell and Hoolahoop were nothing like those that were reported, they were bother lower unsurprisingly!

That said I am absolutely certain in the case of David Bell we got an absolute steal so bravo GR and whilst I am far from convinced about the other one I do think GR has done remarkably well considering the resources he has had to work with.

Daryl Sutch, Mr Norwich City? No he missed a sitter.

And results reflect the resources made available. If GR had spent millions during the close season it would be absolutely right to hold him to account for the results this season. Provide him with diddly squat means that he's a miracle worker if we are successful and a good but underbacked manager if they're not. Rather like telling Seb Coe he's got a fiver for the olympics and then moaning about how the beijing games were better.

Mind you the Wynnies will think a fiver to be way over the top in terms of investment.

Re: FFS Give Roeder A Break
Nay, results do not always reflect the resources available as, for one example, Mike Newell proved at Luton with very little.

Roeder had good resources at both West Ham & Newcastle, so what are your excuses for his being *** at both those clubs? And please spare me the tumour excuses.

I'm getting extremely bored with having to constantly repeat myself on this Forum, but I guess I'll have to say it one more time: Roeder is a poor manager and he will take us down - resources or not.

NEXT!

Re: FFS Give Roeder A Break

There are many managers, at many clubs with no resources, tell me how many clubs have money to burn. Roeder needs to learn motivation skills, when he talks he dont inspire me, in fact he is boring as hell, he dont believe himself, so why would the players believe. he signings are not that great even if they were on the cheap, loanees are not going to give the squad togetherness, oh yea once again his results are crap.
