Toronto jerseys cost $70 and shipping would be $20. Works out at £46...

Thanks Pete, love that red home shirt. Wonder if our club shop will put Hucks on the back for me? Big Smile [:D]

I think most club shops and sport shops only do name and number printing of shirts purchased in their store (so if they mess up the printing they can replace the shirt) but good luck! Maybe I should get my mate in Toronto to go into their club shop and get a job lot printed and shipped over to me....

I know it's all hypothetical still as he hasn't signed anywhere but three things

1. US Footie clubs are well generous with the promotional stuff, just by writing to them you can get a shedload of freebies. It wouldn't take much at all to get a big discount I'm sure.   Obviously he hasn't signed but if he did it's actually very feasible. T-shirts are also an option.

2. If he did sign then there is a chance Hucks would be in Norwich at the time. So it could actually be a 'real' send off and if handled correctly he could turn up :-)

3. It doesn't need to be Toronto - any foreign club.

Thanks for phorensic investigations Pete, it's nice to know there are powerful people who may be interested in this. Thank you to all the nicer comments on here also - the more the merrier.

I think if Hucks signs for a foreign club I will make another post heralding the idea/event and I would hope we can get many supporters.

Nice shirt; but I think I'd rather draw a line under it all and support Norwich rather than Huckerby.

Interesting analogy Jas - I didnt like the way it was done to Malky but one would hope that people learn from their mistakes - not on this occasion it would seem.

Also interesting is that at the time quite a few people agreed that Malky was past it and thought it was a good move, just as some now agree about Hucks going.

That was a decision that haunted our Premiership season and I think we can now say, with the benefit of hindsight, was clearly wrong and had a very negative effect on our season.

In three or four years time what will we be saying about the Hucks decision? - my guess is exactly the same.

There was nothing wrong with getting rid of Malky. He would have been humiliated in the Premiership. Remember the stick Fleming, a far more accomplished defender, got that year.

The problem was not replacing him adequately. That's the lesson that needs to be learned this time. Roeder seems to have acknowledged that. Whether he can get the targets he's after is another matter.

budge up

Perhaps we can do a bulk order and get a discount.
