Ray,
You probably missed my post on the last "raise funds for..." as after me and Blah3 posted our comments the thread promptly dissappeared down the board swamped by the numerous "Hucks" threads.
So to briefly recap, Nutty's analysis of our seasons acheivments was great, I finished 10th, and realise that I can't promoted or relegated from that position no matter what my selection does this week, so in common with the average football club in similair situation nowadays I am using a reserve picker, my pet goldfish "Hucks" in respect to his parting namesake.
Hucks has considered seriously and has said "glub glub glub gulp" which all fish enthusiasts know means :-
Celtic to beat Hibs this week, they scent success in the league as Rangers will probably wilt under the heavy fixture loading they have, he also blew a bubble afterwards which means it's his NAP selection.
Cheers Ray and Nutty this little idea of yours was brilliant, so entertaining and enjoyable. Bless you both

Chelsea to beat Bolton for me as well, they have to win and will do whereas Bolton are safe as long as they avoid a total massacre.

Looking at the results it appears that ive been a rather terrible picker, even worse considering I try to take time over my picks! I think ill abandon the hunt for higher odds and just look for the best chance, which is what 'nap' really means. Feel free to release me from my contract at the end of the season, freeing up valuable wages to spend on the likes of Blyblybabes and Ricky Knight.
This week I shall go for Inter Milan to beat Siena.
Inter are chasing the title, Siena are stuck in mid table.
Didnt catch who was making the picks, either way best of luck!
And thanks again to Arrdee and Nutty. The true heroes of the board for setting up this thread.

Arrdee & Nutty you really are the Legends of Norwich City, so lets not let all this Huckerby nonsense get out of hand. Great players come and go, but great fans like you two will be with us forever.
I was a bit shocked I was rated at less than 50% strike rate on Nutty's stat sheet. I thought I'd done ok this season, but I suppose all gamblers think they do better than they really do! I would like to know what my % was Nigel, if you would be so kind, so I can look to do better next year - assuming Arrdee uses his sugary sweet tongue and bribes Billy Dixon with some of his finest sausages!
Anyway - Nap for the week has to be BAYERN MUNICH away win against Duisberg. No real reasoning behind it, just looks the best bet to me, since my lovely Blue Square Prem has finished.
GOOD LUCK PICKERS!

Arrdee is a legend Leeds and I am just pleased to be a part of this great idea he has made happen
Of course you have done ok, in fact you have done more than ok as have all the pickers who post on this thread. I know Arrdee would be the first to point out that each selection is important. The percentage stats are just a little fun between ourselves. But wasn't it your Aldershot selection that was part of Fellas winning week? That's more than ok in my book ![Yes [Y]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-21.gif)
Your stats are 11 correct from 24 selections - 45.8% You are on a winning run of 2 and you have had 4 winning weeks out of your last 6. So are you in form and one to follow? Not 'arf! ![Yes [Y]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-21.gif) ![Cool [H]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-11.gif)

Morning all, despite the shoddy way I've been treated this week I can't let you pickers down so here's my choice.
Lyon vs AS Nancy - HOME WIN.
Lyon haven't been in great form recently but will fancy their chances against a Nancy side who have only one twice away from home all season. Lyon have only lost one home game all season and need to continue this run with Bordeaux breating down their necks and having a relatively easy home game against Sochaux.
Thanks to Ray for all his hard work getting this thread up and running and to Billy Dixon for his generosity in giving us our £10 bet each week. Cheers also to Nutty for working out all the stats last week. I'm pleased that I, erm...er.....I mean that nice chap Shack, have got over 50% correct.
Now has my left testicle made his pick yet ![Stick out tongue [:P]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-4.gif)

So the end of the season rolls around. Before my nap, I'd like to add my thanks to arrdee and NN for their work on the Free Bet. Any ideas yet on the possibility of doing something for the Euro Champs?
7 from 11 so far, heres hoping for 8 from 12. Looked at the Prem and the play offs, couldn't make a choice. In the end I'm going for the FA Trophy Final and
Torquay to triumph over Ebbsfleet.
Haven't looked at the form too closely, I just feel Torquay will want to salvage something after their play off defeat to Exeter last weekend.
Good luck all and thanks once again arrdee.
On the days to call, which we have left behind.

Well done Darren I'm so glad you've made that selection. That nancy lot are weak in attack, dribble all the time with their heads down and totally unaware of what's going on around them, score many own goals and spend too much time shouting. Makes you wonder what game they are playing !
Anyway Ray. Just a BIG thank you from me. Tremendous effort and nutty, you've been brilliant too, so thanks both of you.
Right, this week I'm going up north...... St. Mirren v Gretna...... Home win
Good luck DDD Let have a party ![Music [8]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-29.gif)

Yes you lovely old Pickers you have done Devon proud and "Devon" being proud is one thing I don't want to talk about , I think all you lovely old pickers know what I mean , It is a constant battle for me to try and get "Devon" focused on football rather than women . I know I don't have to explain "Devon" with a thong over his head , also some hot tottie licking chocolate off his naked body . This is I am afraid dreadful .
This is what I have had to endure to bring you the Free Bet I suppose , I do hope he is going to calm down next season , If I can bring you the Free Bet next season that is , I just know "Devon" is going to replace me with an inflatable doll . arrdee.
