I am an avid city supporter always have been and always will be ( I think ), I have the tattoos, t shirts, and some even say yellow and green blood to prove it. I have been a regular visitor to the carra for over 30 years and have never ever (not even in our darkest days) felt anything like i do at the moment. Let me explain because this has been building up for at least 3 seasons. I am at the stage where i am leaving the games 10 minutes early because i just can't bare to sit through it anymore, certain players are absolutely doing my head in, like croft for instance...run all day for you yes but acheive nothing, Hoolahan what a massive dissapointment epsecially for someone who was going to take the place of a certain Mr H, and don't even get me going on that one, and far too many more players to mention. Then there is this loan thing where we just seem to be a work Gym for other clubs, and do loan players really give a monkeys as to what badge they are wearing or just glad someone is paying their huge wage bill, and then there is all the talk about Delia and the rest of the board, people saying things like what has she done for this club and when will she sell us to some mega rich business man or consortuim etc etc. I can't even blame them for what is happening (can I ), just think without the support she and he hubby MJW have given to us over the past few years without it we could have been in league one years ago (couldn't we), Look at ip**** for instance they now have a shedfull of dosh and are only just above us at the mo. Now i move on to GR, he wasn't my choice that's for sure, is he doing a good job at the moment ? No not as far as i can see, it isn't an easy job that's for sure but i sometimes wonder what he is doing with team selections and tactics etc. So anyway i need you lot (If possible) to restore some faith into me, i must have missed some positives somewhere in my little rant (Haven't I)? I really am at a stage where i think to myself...can i really be bothered to go saturday or not, and if someone says "well at least we are playing nice football" they are obviously not going to the same matches i am.
Have to say that I don't feel we are alone, I guess it's not just what's happening now for me but it's been bubbling and building up for years, last season I was glad that GR and team kept us up, but this season it seems so far that the struggle is still there just with different players this time round. I go to the ground, non excited about the impending match, wander up to the stand, sing my heart out, chant and in between times I am sat with head in hands.
I feel GR is tactically naive sometimes, and really despair at his team positionings. Is it all his fault, not really, the players just don't seem to have that hunger and passion, now if that's due to most of them not being our own players who knows.
My only wish is for the team to do well, get some points on the board and lift the fans hopes, will that happen? God alone knows the answer.
Try these 10 golden "cheer-ups":
1) As long as we stay between where we are and 10th we don't need to worry about other teams results.
2) We can wave a thankful goodbye to the more useless loan signings soon - bye-bye Sibierski.
3) If we don't score many goals we don't need to keep leaping up and doing that stupid knees-bent hand pumping thing to some Brazilian music.
4) As long as we are playing rubbish football we avoid that Saturday morning feeling that we might play as well as we did last time (Birmingham).
5) As long as we keep playing rubbish there will always be a load of players willing to give upbeat quotes to the press on a Thursday telling us about how we are going to stuff someone one day and ending up with egg on their faces on Saturday night.
6) We still have Gary Docherty to come back.
7) We have missed Gary's "big up" quotes in Friday's paper.
8) If we kept winning we would have no need for Adam Drury to tell us on a Monday that we have to pull together and we are all in this togehter - no we're not mate - you and the rest of the team are in it - we're the suckers watching you.
9) There's always the Academy youngsters - oh no, sorry we sold them to Chelsea or stuck them up chimneys to make a bit of money for the Tactics Zone - whatever the huck that is.
10) There will be some more flats built in the Car Park soon so at the very worst you can climb to the top and jump.
SNAP OUT OF IT!
how many truly bad seasons have norwich had recently? one in last year! cant remember too many of them in recent years (last 10yrs)
your playing in the 2nd tier - hardly poor is it
many clubs would love to swap positions with norwich city - try supporting say cambridge, swindon, oxford, grimbsy etc....
You are certainly not alone mate. I think there are several Norwich fans who have become or who are becomming disillusioned with the club. I however know exactly who is to blame for our current downfall and the finger points at more than one person. In my eyes Roeder is as culpable as the board. His piss poor tactics and team selections are on par with the boards piss poor control of the finances. The neglect they have shown the team in the last three years is a disgrace. Things have gotten so bad that we dont even own our own squad! The players we do own are only slightly better than the loanees and they are quite frankly awful! Its Cullum or bust Im afraid. Im preparing for the worst.
norwich city just going through a bad patch. if you cant take them go and support manutd! how many have you had recently? relegation from premier, few years in our league when you were expected to get promoted and last season. bar that you have been average or better.
every club goes through spells like your having

The club was so close to relegation last season....it was a warning call, have they chosen to ignore it?
Slipping back into the NFI and SNAFU mode, till the sheet hits the fan mode.....PANIC!
I am also still waiting for the new heroes?
8 nearly 9 loans? What's all that about?
Crisis management?
What really went on with Cullum (and Cullen)?....and all the other 'in's and out's'?
Huckerby's departure, not so much that the manager supposedly felt it was time for a change - but the abject nature of hcuk's release.
Forthcoming AGM that will be so, so, predictable.....(No Turner Two to keep a watchful eye on the CE).
Why did the Turner Two really bail out?
Does the Colney Conservatory - really have diamonds encrusted in the glass?
Is the current squad truly and honestly a team that will (after the loans booger off and are replaced by other loans) good enough for survival - let alone promotion?
I look more forward to the socialising in the boozer after the games - than the games themselves.....
Is their light at the end of the tunnel? Or, is it just The Donk, Delia, Mickey W and Roger (who's clutching a small maglite) coming toward us - taking turns each to pump the rail hand-cart that rolls 3 feet forward and 4 feet back?
Are the finances, really robust?
So many positives.......
