I take it that anyone who objects to this expenditure never once complained about the old scoreboards or moaned about the state of Scores?

Can you not see that most of these improvements have been done to increase the revenue, they're not just wasting money!!!
The refurbishment of Yellows means it's now a restaurant every day, not just a little matchday place.
The scoreboards mean that we can get more money from advertising on them.
And the gym equipment, well, it's got to be done. You can't just have old equipment.
So, can someone please answer me this....
What was wrong with spending this money?

Nothing if we had a half decent team full of our OWN assets.
What matters most to me is what goes on financially on the pitch not off. Ohhhhhhh so we have a lovely scoreboard, that's just fantastic lol. I don't care if we have no players because I can sit and watch the scoreboard for 90 minutes ![Big Smile [:D]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-2.gif) ![Wink [;)]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-5.gif)

lol Smudger I wouldn't know to be honest, the past few games I have spent with my head in my hands, and that's the honest truth. I am losing the will and want to go to see my team play.

Just a few thoughts as I still haven’t found time to sit down and start to digest the current set of accounts.
Given our cash position I would have thought the club could have readily leased the new gym equipment? This is the type of thing that wears out after a few years so rather than commit chunks of loot I would have thought a lease arrangement might have been sensible?
As for the refurbishment of Yellows, I had a meeting at one other businesses based at the club last Friday and went into the hotel for a spot of lunch beforehand and very good it was to just like on match days.
As a side issue the group I go to home games with have all now cancelled our Gunn Club memberships as what’s the point of lumping out £100 to go in somewhere that isn’t as good as the hotel and to listen to yet another interview with Mark Barham. The food was generally poor in the cafeteria part of the establishment and is just not worth the money.
Back on track, just how many catering facilities does the club need? Sure we are only in effect the freeholder of the hotel but once again if cash is king couldn’t this have waited? The hotel despite looming large over the pitch is generally very good indeed with an extremely professional manager and is a real bonus on match days.
As for the score board, the results haven’t improved since the last one so I would be quite happy to go back to the old days and see a couple of old boys wandering around the perimeter carrying a score board, hell its not as if they would have much to do at the moment is it!
Daryl Sutch, Mr Norwich City? No he missed a sitter.

I assumed the "Yellows" refurbishment, was financed by Delia's dosh? I remember some Male 'Top Celebrity Chef'' attending the official opening of the place......Did she fork out? Or didn't she?
