It is with regret that yesterday whilst playing for Sprowston Wanderes Shaun Bunn tragically past away in the second half of the game. Any person that knew bunny the way that i did will feel very sad at this tragic loss. my thoughts go out to his family at this moment. I would ask anybody who knew shaun to please start a poll with me any pay your respects on this page so that i may print off and pass on to his family. Secondly i have decided to NOT call of next weeks game vs ceyms reserves as i know bunny would not have wished for this to happen, instead i would like to think that all over norfolk and suffolk at 2.30 pm next saturday there will be one minuite of applause for shaun. i would ask as many people as possible to attend the game Sprowston Reserves vs CEYMS Reserves being played at Swardeston in honour of shaun where there will be a raptuous round of applause taking place.
I thank you all for reading and ask you to remember shaun ( bunny ) in your thoughts along with his family.
REST IN PEACE MY DEAR FRIEND

Bunny was a great larger than life character who taught me everything I know about playing in goal.
I'll miss the big man greatly and my thoughts go out to his family at this hard time.
Rest In Peace Shaun (Bunny), you will be greatly missed

We only played against Bunny and the lads three weeks ago and as usual his passion and enthusiasm was there for all to see and learn from.
Those of us at Sprowston Beehive that knew Bunny are still in shock at what happened.
All we can say, and I express this on behalf of all of my players and club, is that he will be missed, and we send our deepest sympathies to his family.

My personal trubute to Shaun

To my Darling Dearest Fiancee and loving Father to son Ashley,
This is our own personal tribute to Shaun. We loved Shaun very much and were part of his life and family for the last 8 years he has been with us. We know everyone is grieving and noone is grieving anymore than us believe me. When Shaun left us on Saturday to go to the match he was in his usual happy mood and there was no inkling that he was unwell, although we know he would have still played on regardless as he would not have let anyone down
Shaun darling if you are looking down from that soccer pitch above, we love you to pieces and miss you so much its tearing me and your son Ashley apart it's hell here without you. Sleep soundly now sweetheart we have only loaned you for the moment because the team up above were short of a goalie
Love you loads and loads - Love Tanya & Ashley xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This is truly a huge loss for local football, Bunny was a fantastic person and friend to have around both on and off the field. I'll certainly miss the banter i use to have with this lovely man . My thoughts are now with all his family to whom i send my sincere condolences, please try and remain strong to get through this tragic time. RIP Bunny
