Why not?
The bottom line is the club should have been doing everything possible to get Cullum involved, since his approach in October.
The fact they have not stinks.
I believe the club asked forums such as the pinkun from posting Neil's correspondence with fans a few months ago. As the email was addressed to you, and you only, they felt it was unfair that the contents was shared publicly with everyone.

Hmm well I guess we'll find out if this thread gets deleted. But its not like he told me not to pass on the information or anything and presumably he would say the same to anyone else that asked.

If it's the club, then what exactly is Cullum playing at? So far the press reports seem consistent with what Neil has said since Cullum appears to have no desire in buying Delia's shares.
Donacster has never lied to us or misled us has he?
Emails are not supposed to be put on here so I can see this thread being removed mate.
QUICK! EVERYONE HAVE A BUTCHERS - BEFORE IT GETS DELETED!
WILLY! POO POO! AR$E! ......There, that'll accelarate its removal.....Then I can come on later and say I'm privy to an e-mail from the Darth Donkster that the Mods removed!
I feel sooooo important!
"the reality is that it is easy to talk about investing money in the team - that, ultimately, is what interests supporters"
Yes Neil, the penny has finally dropped!

The REAL bottom line is if you want to buy something you approach the holder.
Cullum has NOT approached either Delia or Michael Smith.
Or the club.
The real reason behind that evasion is what really stinks !

You're right. Surely they could issue £20m worth of £30 shares and give those to Cullum. Surely that could be done if it was voted through? If the current total shares currently come to £16m in value then that would give Cullum a 55.55% share of the club. Everyone else gets to keep their shares, Cullum has majority and we get £20m for players.

Are you going to carry on dodging my questions Ralph? did you like Robert chase, yes or no?

IMO you seem to miss the main point, which is that - unless I have got it totally wrong - at no time has Cullum actually sought to take over the club (by his own comments), but that is precisely what it would take for his offer to come true. Per his own comments, other than a tentative telecon last October he has barely spoken to the club, yet if he wanted to take it over it might have been a good idea to have approached them about it, and a telecon last October is not the sort of thing we are talking about in what is a £multi-million business.
Given this, getting the EDP to publish a one-sided story about how he would love to put all this money in, seems to me to be trying to play a clever - but imo slightly morally wrong - game, purely designed at getting supporters on-side. But it was a pretty feeble effort by the EDP as it asked/answered none of the important questions that anyone with any sense would have asked.
Something does seem a bit odd about this whole thing, and imo the EDP has a fair amount to answer to. We'd all welcome a large cash injection, and so far Mr Cullum seems the most viable option, so lets hope that the daft saga of the last week won't put a stop on it.
