Transfer Talk

Chris Birchall

This is more out of interest really, the guy was solid for Trinidad and Tobago during the World cup, showed some real class and scored a stunning goal against us. Just wondering whether he's be worth a shot at a cheap price as things dont seem to have worked out at Coventry.

haha I see. Chris Birchall, 23 year old, trinidad and tobago international. Didn't look out of place in the world cup. For such a young player who would be relatively cheap, I think he'd be an excellent squad player.

I don't think we have a great need for him with Croft and Chadwick about. I'd rather see the money spent elsewhere; on a decent centre back and a good striker.

go for it!

Croft does not deliver.  Chadwick does, but his injury record is poor.

Birchall also played as a central midfielder for t&t which is where he seemed like an affordable quality option.
