...If Hucks goes to Toronto I'm buying their strip instead of our own as protest
....I'm expecting flames for this but I think it would be a nice protest that isn't rude or voilent but hits the club in the pocket a little bit. I believe his release was money saving and it could well have been the right thing to do. I just didn't like the way it was done.

It'd be a great way to keep the memory alive.

I would only do this if he went abroad.

I said to my mate the other day that I will buy the shirt with Huckerby on the back of whatever club he goes to as long as it is abroad.  But it won't stop me buying the new Norwich shirt

Interesting analogy Jas - I didnt like the way it was done to Malky but one would hope that people learn from their mistakes - not on this occasion it would seem.

Also interesting is that at the time quite a few people agreed that Malky was past it and thought it was a good move, just as some now agree about Hucks going.

That was a decision that haunted our Premiership season and I think we can now say, with the benefit of hindsight, was clearly wrong and had a very negative effect on our season.

In three or four years time what will we be saying about the Hucks decision? - my guess is exactly the same.

No I didn't like Malkygate.

If you read my post in it's entirety you'll find that I wrote 'ONLY IF HE GOES ABROAD', there's only a few lines, it shouldn't have taken you too long. So you bibbling on about Watford shirts is curious at best. I also don't think that in reality you can compare Malky and Huckerbys input and fans feelings towards them as being equal.

I have moved on. I won't forget though.

And a note to all fans who will buy a Norwich top and put Huckerby on it from now on..........all it will do is put a smile on the face of Neil Doncaster and Andrew Cullen when they're champagne glasses are chinking in celebration of more sales while doing nothing to deserve them.

Good on ya mate, my mate got the Odense shirt with Nedergaard on the back after he left, it was quite nice.

oh yeah, he went to West Ham  jas :-) ;-)

In seriousness though.

Hux's heart would burst with pride if a load of us had Toronto (if he goes there) tops on at the start of the season. Imagine 100 plus fans all photographed in the papers as our unofficial way of saying goodbye as well as cocking a snoop towards the club politely and in a way they would have to comment. Honestly, I think this is the way to do it. Come on posters, what do you say?

Please try to read every single word that somebody writes, we8wba. He quite clearly states: "Only if he moves abroad." Now, I don't think any of those clubs you've mentioned are based abroad, do you?

It will come as no surprise to you all that I will continue to follow his career just like I did when Flecky left us. If he goes abroad I too will get the shirt with his name on it and flash it at the Directors box at the odd game Big Smile [:D]

I don't need to justify anything to you - put it like this, if he went to Wolves I'd set myself alight. Can't wait to watch the boing boing baggies next year, they really are a class above anything in that area.

Seriously though folks - having a lot of us wearing Toronto tops( if he goes there ) at the start of the season. This is about Huckerby, not so much the club - he would be thrilled if there were a load of us pictured in the press outside the ground.

This is a way we could say goodbye - not some silly concert or something money generating thought up by Canary Marketing.

haha comedy.... i said i miss read it ok

next..... i know wba are better than us and play more attractive football! just like i can say wow love those tractor boys they actually win games and put up fights vs teams!

ps im sure toronto would love sign him if know they sell 2k to norwich fans! but where you going to get one from? sportworld or jjb ? if online have fun spending 80quid on top to ship it across

but realistically one of the more sensible suggestions on here
