When we can sign new permanent players and is it a different date for bosmans and players out of contract?

Well I thought it was June 1st but I see Chelski signed the guy from Porto yesterday so not sure?

Maybe you can agree a fee and terms etc ahead of the window?

Think I got the concept of players (out of contract) being able to sign now. Perhaps they can - or perhaps the deals can just be agreed and not go through until June 1st.

I think we will see a bit of activity early on this time - well with so few players we cannot afford to wait.

Just seen on another site that someone thinks its July 1st, googled it and it comes up with a few different dates.

well glenn wants players in before july 1st so must be before then. generally first week of june, from what i know on football manager!!!!

Players can be signed now whatever there situation, but they won't officially join there new clube when the window opens on July 1st. Also some deals such as bosmans can be agreed to go through on July 1st, with contracts typically expiring on 30th June.

Guess July 1st makes sense cause thats roughly when they return for pre season training.

its June 1st.. however Pre contracts, Free agents and Bosmans can be signed now...

Infact Free's and pre contracts can be agreed outside the transfer window... with pre contracts joining in the window and frees immediately.
