I'm not sure about this, I think they both make sense in there own way. "It's just not football" makes sense, similar as Evil pointed out in that previous thread to "It's just not cricket".

Ah well it has changed now, but I think it made just as much sense before!

It makes sense in a way, but not as much as it does how it is now. "It's not just football", in reference to all the above forums being about football, but this one is not. "It's just not football" reminds me of, "I can't believe it's (just) not butter", you think it's football but, believe or not, it isn't.

Could make it easier for us all and just call it "Off topic". Big Smile [:D]
