Realistic Striker Options !

Jus wondered what people thought of these for potential signings, thought they might be more realistic than Aruna Dindane, all players played bit parts for there teams this season or have been told they can leave:

Eastwood, Elliot - Wolves

Stokes, Connolly, Prica, O'Donovan - Sunderland

Shelton, Stead, Webber - Sheff U

Camara, Cotterill - Wigan

Helguson (Dont know if hes injured or just out of favour but he's quality) - Bolton

Well obviously i dont know that for sure but i know that Jones, Choppra & Daryl Murphy are all in front of him in he pecking order and there is talk of them interested in Forlan so im guessin they are after more strikers ! Also Stokes only started 9 games all season so maybe he could be available !

Re: Realistic Striker Options !

Some alright names bandied about there.

I reckon eastwood would be okay, but not for anything over £1m as he seems like a bit of a gamble given his poor season.

Cotterill can go away out of principle, let him rot on the bench at wigan, he had his chance to join us, fast, but dunno about his quality, same with Shelton and O'Donovan without the harsh words at the begining.

Helguson would be good for us, never convinced me even from when they signed him at bolton, but we're talking championship

Camara wouldn't come, and would want too much money anyway

Prica hasn't been bad for sunderland, and will probably stay

Stead is okay in drabs, but i'm not convinced, as with webber

Not sure about Elliot

Bally Smart, the (wo)man who got away!
