Summer Picks

My own personal short list:

RB/CB: Ramage

RB/CB: Rob Edwards

CB: Tiny

CB: Kisnorbo

CM: Oakley

CM: Hendrie

ST: Eastwood

ST: Howard

ST: Earnshaw

LB: Camara

LB: Granville (not of Open All Hours)

LW: no ideas here - I have not seen enough of Hoolihan to comment, but the reports are good unless Jay Tabb is available

OK, there's a recurring theme of raiding particular clubs, but why not?

Cover for Drury seems to be an issue and in Camara or Granville they're both getting on a bit, so maybe another loan or a punt on a youngster with promise might be the way to go.

I'm watching from afar with great interest, as I think Roeder has been spot on so far.  I would have given Huckerby another contract to ease the burden of what is going to be a huge squad overhaul.  I hope Roeder's confidence in finding a replacement is well founded.

Re: Summer Picks
Ramage will probably go to QPR who can afford to throw money on his wages here there and everywhere, and they will also guarantee him first team football week in week out so expect him to go there.

Evans and Rigters i would love to see and i think if Sven departs from Man City we could well see Ched back at Carrow Road.

If we can get Hoolahan and Oakley then i think our midfield will be ten times better than it is now.

Etherington the name floating around everywhere at the minute, may as well keep the positive hopes going hey!

Re: Summer Picks

Totally agree with the comment regarding the players I put forward anf the other ones offered.  I think Maceo would be a great option

But, left back is the main area, isn't it?!  Who would you go for?

Re: Summer Picks
If we could get either of the 2 released from Boro then that would be good, however i really cannot see them coming to the championship, i think they will go to one of the high paying leagues, Mendieta would certainly improve the quality of passing in our team, the lack of pace which has hindered himin the premiership would be less of a hinderance in our league i reckon.

Re: Summer Picks
Signing Ched Evans and Ryan Bertrand on permanant deal's would be my top priority if I was Glenn. I know they would cost heavily, but they're both players who's value is only going to go up and up, so would be a top investment.

What about Skoko or Olembe who've been released from Wigan?
