With all the talk on who Roeder might sign over the summer, I think things are looking quite promising for next year... (if he can pull off the trick of buying permanent players, not just loans)
We definately need to sign at least 2 strikers (Cureton could be a good back-up if required). My perfect choice would be Evans, but then we would need someone else aswell (Beckford at Leeds - if they don't go up, Eastwood at Wolves or Hume at Leicester - since they are down now)
We do need another centre-back, if not two. I could live with Shackell or Doherty at the back, but not both. I would also like to see Bertrand here as he looks like he has lots of potential.
And then the midfield... Russell and Fozzy in the centre is fine (maybe a back-up required aswell). But we then need some wingers now that Hucks has been released.
But, as I remember, I thought this last year, and look what we got from Grant... Brellier, Murray and Strihavka!!! Let's hope Glenn can attract some quality players (for cheap money) quickly and we can rebuild ready for the play-off push...

Exactly. Only difference is Grants been replaced by Roeder.
Roeder may or may not have an eye for a player but he needs money. Where is the millions of pounds we'll need to buy all these players going to come from?

Yes, I understand that. I'm just saying that this club has got a lot of work to do and I would like to see what Roeder does with not a lot of money and then work from there.
