TRANSFERS - LOOKING AT LOWER LEAGUES

We should be loooking for players in the lower leagues, like we have done before and other clubs have done as well

Players such as  - Nicky Maynard - Jermaine Beckford - Jason Scotland

We should try and loan players like Scott Sinclair (if Palace don't go up)

We should certainly sign new centre backs because i just don't think Doherty and Shackell are even Championship standerd.

I miss the days of Kenton and personally beleive we should sign a fast centre back and a very experienced one!!

WE SHOULD LOOK IN NATIONS LIKE HOLLAND FOR WONDER-KIDS, DUE TO THEIR FANTASTIC DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES AND GRASS ROOTS.

Ah, pure genius. Look at Dutch football for up and coming young talent. I can't believe nobody else has thought of that yet.

i agree but didnt roeder say how unimpressed he was with the lower leagues. to be honest the dutch leagues are goot but what are the chances that we are going to find somone who is skillfull enough and also has enough physical presence for this league.

i say try for someone like paterson or even victor moses of palace

I can't believe you thinking of looking in lower leagues for players to get us to Premier status. Have you been to watch any div 1 or lower games. No? Well i have been to several with friends who sorrowfully support some Div teams, and i can swear to you now...they would not look out of place in a morgue.

considering moses is linked with teams like juventus i doubt that he would come to norwich

Nicky Maynard is an excellent player, he could easily break through to be a top championship striker, and at his age could progress even further. To make sweeping statements that there is zero talent in league 1 or lower is madness...

Re: TRANSFERS - LOOKING AT LOWER LEAGUES
the problem is directed in exactly what you just wrote...he would make a good champ striker. The unfortunate thing is that what Norwich need is not only a striker that would be great in the champs...but can also cope in the premier should that befall the club. I don't think the named player is good enough for the Premier and would only be a rarely used sub in the Champs

Look at the dutch league for 'wonderkids'..... you mean like Jurgen Colin from PSV who was "good enough to play for holland" according to the barcelona manager at the time? No thanks.

Re: TRANSFERS - LOOKING AT LOWER LEAGUES
Moses has a great future ahead of him, as does Frazier Campbell so thats two we will never sign!!!

George Boyd of Peterborough - one to watch i tell you, i heard they turned down roughly a 2 mil bid for him last year or the year before, a league 2 winger worth that much who doesnt want to leave...or isnt being allowed to leave, bit unexpected!

Sign him up Glenno, Boyd would be an outstanding prospect for this league and a good young replacement for Huckerby - his crossing is excellent and his eye for goal is even better.

Age 22
Striker/Left Winger
6ft1
15 goals this season
2008 Teams player of the year

Worth a fair bit of money but sign him up Glenno :)
