Ramage and Carr released from Newcastle

Carrow Roeder 06/05/2008, 7:22 PM
Just weeks after there was speculation that the two could possibly be linked with Norwich.

Personally i think Otsemobor is excellent going foward, however in defense, which is his major area as a RB he lacks somewhat, i would love to see Carr in a Norwich shirt if he can go on for another 3 or 4 years that is....how long he has left in the tank im not sure.

Ramage however would be a huge player for us, Doherty, although im a rare fan of his isnt the most consistent defender for us, he has spells of excellence but then switches off, and i think Ramage offers that consistency.............get on the phone mr roeder!

Ramage wasn't released he chose not to sign a new deal in order to pursue first team football - so he would appeal to roeder along with his Newcastle links. Our only competition really is lower status premier league clubs

does ramage wont to work under roeder again?

im not saying any of these are the case! but just because they both been newcastle same time doesnt mean he would sign for you other any champ sides! i would say your favs if it was just champ sides but didnt we have all of these last summer to?

no to Stephen Carr, the guy is a liability.

Ramage is a very good player, and could see him making the grade very well at champ level, i reckon he does have a good relationship with Roeder...but just going on some distant memories..so could be wrong.

He seemed to be a regular under Roeder from what I can remember. Would be a very good way to start our summer business by acquiring his signature.

Two very good signings there, IMO. But then I bet they're being offered ludicrous wages by QPR.

QPR have the money to throw stupidly large wages around, now this news has come out its going to be tough to sign him, our only hope is the Newcastle link!
