Huckerby's departure, all be it a shame, is the right decision...
Glenn Roeder has his three or four year plan he mentioned a few weeks ago, he wants players that are going to be here for those three or four years and who can push us closer to the Premier League, and yes Huckerby would have been a great asset for us next season however in the long run he wouldnt be here in 4 years time to see out the manager's plans....
i think it took a lot of guts from Roeder to admit that Huckerby isnt going to be part of his future plans becuase of all the fans that are against it, and im a huge Huckerby fan but i must say, hats off to Roeder for sticking to his guns doing the right thing for Norwich's future, rather than for next year alone.
