Made himself an instant hero with City
fans when he scored on his debut against Ipswich Town but
from then on endured a torrid season ravaged by injury. In
the same match, the former Manchester United man collided
with advertising hoardings and sustained a nasty knee injury
that he struggled to overcome. He made several cameo performances
but then a hip injury put paid to any thoughts of winning
a place in the starting line-up. Chadwick
will be hoping to display the kind of form that made manager
Peter Grant splash out £200,000 on the player in January
after a loan period, although he has started just one game.
Can play almost anywhere along the midfield line.
