The Frenchman signed a two-year deal with the Canaries in
the summer to boost manager Peter Grant's midfield options.
Brellier likes to sit just in front of a back four in the
"Makelele" role. The 25-year-old used to be at Italian
giants Inter Milan although it was at Hearts that he really
made his name. Something of an unknown quantity: came to Carrow
Road this summer after declining the offer of a new contract
at Hearts and has featured in only one pre-season game –
a 45-minute run-out at King’s Lynn – because of
a thigh injury. Plays in the midfield role just in front of
the back four, helping clear up loose ends. Nicknamed The
Judge in Scotland.
