Let in more goals than any other Premiership keeper, but that
was down to the fact that he was kept busier than anyone else.
He wasn't directly responsible for too many of them and produced
countless of top quality saves to keep the tally down. He
generally looked the part and performed well enough to keep
his place in the England squad.
Verdict: If Green decides to
stay put it will clearly be a huge boost for the Canaries.
But if he did move on City would still be well covered in
the goalkeeping department, with Joe Lewis getting to the
age where he could soon be challenging Darren Ward and Paul
Gallacher. And they'd also have a tidy sum to invest in new
talent.

How do you relax away from football? Depending on the
time of year either by playing golf or cricket. I play for
Swardeston during the summer and really enjoy it. Golf is
bit of a challenge but Im working at it and I really
enjoy that too. Its also nice to relax at home when
Im not playing or training.
Favourite other sport to play: Cricket.
Favourite other sport to watch: Thats got to
be cricket too.
Favourite holiday destination: Amalfi in Italy.
Favourite television programme: The Simpsons.
Favourite restaurant/eating place: Femis in Norwich.
Favourite read: Gridlock by Ben Elton, and Dog by John
Hegley.
Recommended listening: Blur, and The Datsuns.
Best thing about living in Norfolk: Its nice
and peaceful, especially around where I live. Ive been
up here since I was 16 and really love the county.
Worst thing about living in Norfolk: Nothing I can
think of, although it does take a long time to get to some
of our away games. Those coach journeys home can drag at times.
Whose result do you look out for first? Woking in the
Nationwide Conference. Theyre still going well in the
FA Cup so lets hope we draw them in the third round!
Who was the first team you ever played for? Woking
Boys.
What would you have done if you hadnt made the grade?
Id like to say a professional cricketer but I dont
think I would have been good enough. It would probably have
been something to do with sport.
What will you do when your playing career is over?
I hope thats a long way off yet but Ive
got vague plans to move out to Australia when Ive finished
playing. Well just have to see.
