A big, big disappointment. The likeable Swede struggled to
adapt to the demands of English football and failed to score
a goal all season – unless you count a close-range header
for the reserves. He didn't set one up for anybody else either.
Verdict: The fee Norwich paid for Jonson
was undisclosed, but it is thought to getting on towards £1m.
He certainly hasn't delivered value for money yet. It might
be in everyone's best interests if he starts afresh somewhere
else – but, on the other hand, a player of his undoubted
quality has surely got to start producing the goods at some
stage. A difficult one to predict.
