Best League Win:
12-0 v Leicester City 12/04/1909 Division 1

Last meeting: Norwich City 1, Notts Forest 0 (December 26, 2003): Ian Henderson sped off down the right and produced a pure peach of a cross that curled behind the wrong-footed Wes Morgan and gave the arriving Mathias Svensson a gilt-edged opportunity to get his home debut off to a flying start. This game will, however, be remembered more for Darren Huckerby becoming a permanent Norwich City player before kick-off.

Last Norwich away win: 17/03/1993 Notts Forest 0, Norwich City 3

Chances: On the up after several years in the doldrums, things seem to be happening again at the City Ground. Forest have gone big on strikers this summer, with the arrival of Robert Earnshaw and the veteran Andrew Cole although their acquisitions have been slightly offset by the loss of Kris Commons to rivals Derby. However, they can be shaky at the back and last season’s player of the year Julian Bennett will need another fine campaign. Look a good bet for mid-table.
